Position Details

We are looking for a VP R&D with team-leading capabilities and entrepreneurial mindset to join our core team.


  • Leading, hiring and growing a team of software developers and QA engineers, from the current 3-strong team all the way to a full R&D department. Taking care of all their technical and soft-skills aspects.

  • Being both a highly technical, hands-on coder and effective people manager.

  • Being a part of the company’s management, making strategic decisions on the future of the company.

  • End-to-End responsibility for the company's R&D vision, performance, and deliverables. Leading the design and building the product's architecture.


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

  • 2+ years of experience managing 4+ sized R&D teams. 

  • Experience in Python, node.js.

  • Experience in a cloud-based environment: AWS/Azure, RESTful API, Nginx, Docker, CI - Jenkins, SQL/Postgres, Kubernetes.

  • Prior experience managing engineers using modern frontend platforms (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS).

  • Hands-on experience with a frontend platform - an advantage.

  • Solid experience in development process agile methodologies (e.g SCRUM)

  • Previous experience as a VP R&D in a startup - an advantage.
